Evosys Laser Services GmbH is pleased to announce that Thomas Eckert has assumed the position of Managing Director with effect from February 1, 2025. Mr. Eckert brings experience from the fastener industry, where he was a successful sales executive.
Erlangen, February 2025: Evosys Laser Services today officially announces the appointment of Thomas Eckert as its new Managing Director. With his extensive experience as head of a sales team in the fastener industry, he has been driving the further development of the EVOSYS subsidiary since February 1, 2025.
With his skills in analyzing markets and their potential, Mr. Eckert will contribute to the growth and strategic development of Evosys Laser Services. His goal is to advance the company holistically and to get to know new business areas. In the coming years, he plans to identify significant growth potential, optimize sales channels and promote the development of a strong sales network in the regional markets.
The broad corporate positioning of Evosys Laser Services in the areas of service, contract manufacturing and design offers enormous potential to further develop the company as a whole.
In addition to individual services, the range of services also includes service contracts in various categories, so that the required support is covered from a broad portfolio by experienced and highly qualified service employees and process specialists. Contract manufacturing divides the process stages into pre-assembly, laser welding, testing and documentation. The range of services includes application consulting, process development and process optimization, as well as contract manufacturing of prototypes, small and large series or pilot projects of the highest quality. Another mainstay is in-house design. This includes the processes of designing, planning and developing the necessary machine requirements for the subsequent laser welding process. Extensive experience with materials, tools, applications and layout round off the company philosophy of “design, processing and service – all from a single source”.
The current uncertain market situation in the automotive sector will require a differentiated strategy and innovative approaches this year in order to operate successfully in this tense market situation and secure the future competitiveness of Evosys Laser Services.
